Team Battle Double-Up

There were two of the most dangerous homies in AZ, Stinky and Menace... Each were claiming to be the best of the best until this dispute became an ultimate challenge. The AZ Dream decided to have these two rough, tough gangsters challenge each other in a team battle double-up competition...... They each chose five of the best riders in AZ to form their teams for...... THE DOUBLE UP BATTLE!!!!!! It was crucial for each of them to choose wisely and to plan out the most insane strategy of all time so that they would be able to defeat their opponent and for their team to become the best of the best......

Team Stinky

__Larry
__Garvy
__Derek
__Benjamin
__Brain

Team Menace

__Wittl
__Matty
__Shipka
__Justin
__Jimmy
__P.A.

...... After the wind died down and the scene just about became perfect...... hammers began throwing down!! Jimmy Wolf started laying it down, being the Menace that he is, with a dangerous backside 540! Then Derek threw it right back with a nose grab Stinky frontside 540... Just to show that team Menace doesn't stop there, Matty C busted it with the biggest air of the day as he did the most stylish relaxed nose grab 360. Let's not forget about the rodeo 5 P.A. stomped either! Then out of no where to keep the crowd on their Stinky toes Benjaminbooyah throws a massive 720 into the flats and barely pulls it off! Right when everyone was feeling there was no end to this battle..... Scary Larry ends the day with the most booyah, stylish, clean, Stinky smooth indy poked out backside 180 that has ever hit the State of Arizona!!! That was just enough for team STINKY to WIN THE DOUBLE UP BATTLE!!! ................. "It ain't over yet, ha ha ha"...Menace.

Double-Up Competition

So it was Tuesday night at 10:45 when a crazy booyah thought entered our heads... double-up?? With only 3 days to plan we grabbed the most bodacious riders in AZ to shred Bartlett Lake with steez that has never been released to the public!! Yes!! We threw the most insane, booyah competition that has ever hit AZ! Each rider was given 2 double ups for their opportunity to show us what they got. After many steezy grabs, flips/spins, gnarly crashes, some amazing driving by Derek Bourm and a couple of tickets from our local sheriff, it was clear amongst the riders whose double-ups truly stood out. Local Liquid Force rider Joe Shipka took the 3rd spot with a heelside 540. Benjamin Christensen, Company team rider, threw a huuuge stylish method f/s 360 to land him in 2nd. CWB Pro team rider Jimmy Wolf stomped a gnarly heelside double grab f/s 540 to win the competition!! A special thanks goes out to the sponsors including Company Wakeboards, Von Zipper, Red Bull, Reef, Freestyle Watches and The AZ Dream itself!!!

P.S. there will be many more events to come...
